Abstract

This illustrated presentation explores the reign and legacy of a pharaoh revered by later kings as one of the greatest Egyptian rulers: Nebhepetre Mentuhotep II of the 11th  Dynasty.

Sarah Griffiths is Deputy Editor of Ancient Egypt Magazine and Secretary of the Manchester Ancient Egypt Society, holding BSc Hons and Masters science degrees and the University of Manchester's Certificate in Egyptology. In a previous life she was a science teacher in the UK and Hong Kong and spent 17 years broadcasting for the BBC.
